Call back is one the important utilities available in the phone cards. This is intended to those who are on travel and who want to make long distance calls through the phone cards. By making use of the callback utility the caller has three important advantages. They are briefly explained here:

It is cheaper:

One of the main objectives of callback utility is to provide calling facility at the cheapest possible rate. In some of the countries, the calling tariff could be higher. Or it may be that the caller wants to call a number which he has registered with the calling company. In such cases, he can make use of callback utility. This utility connects the caller to the calling company through a third country (normally it is United States of America) and he would make calls as if he has made through his calling company.

Easy to use:

The method of using this utility is quite simple. All that he has to do is to take the receiver and dial the access number allotted to him and then hang up the receiver. The computer in the calling company will identify him and it calls back the same number from where the call was made. Once he takes the phone, he is immediately connected to the long distance calling zone. Now, the person can make any number of calls. He stays connected till he hangs up the receiver.

Access number:

To make use of this utility the caller is provided with an access number. He can dial this access number from any telephone connection and from any country. It is the key for the caller to get connected to the calling company. Once connected, he is deemed to be making the call through his calling company.
